Tinted windows?

Hello all, I just bought an 2007 Boxster with 9800 mikes on it. I was'nt in the market but the car found me. It is triple black 5 speed with 18" S wheels. I have always had the window tinted on my previous cars. I was curious if anyone has tinted theirs? I am tempted to but I think it might make the car too dark inside with the interior already black. I would also like to thank everyone on the board for their information. I read almost all the post on the board when I was considering buying the car. I am looking forward to many good years of driving.

Adam

My Boxster has a medium tint on the side windows. I like the look and it keeps the glare down. No problems at night. Most people don't even notice it.

In this pic, the windows look a lot darker then they really are because of the sun angle and the black interior.

I'll try and take another pic over the weekend that is more representative (would do it now but my son has the Boxster this afternoon because I am in the middle of replacing the top on the Miata).

Garage
I've got a light tint on my windows. They're also bullet-proof and lipstick resistant.

I used to have limo tint on the side windows and rear window on the hard top. I had it for 2 years and then Recently had it removed. It was AWESOME during the day and in the summer becuase it kept a black on black car nice and cool in the summer but it was hard to see out of at night. I am now thinking of getting a medium tint. Live and learn I guess but that is my exprience with tinting.

I've never been a fan of window tint but I applied 35% tint to my Boxster and I like it.

Mine is 20%. Not legal but no problems yet. I say black the whole thing out like the new Black Edition Boxster S

My triple black boxster had two layers of tint on the windows making them limo black.

Looked very stealthy with the top and windows up, but dangerous. Couldn't see a blinkin' thing at night, especially when it was raining.

Top down and windows up to lower wind buffeting or keep the interior of the car warmer when driving in cold or cool weather looked really stupid to me.

... so I removed it when I was told they wouldn't give me an inspection sticker a couple of years after I had owned the car.
