I don't think it is any extra work for you. The shipper, usually UPS handles the brokerage and customs paperwork for you. They will ask what it is you are shipping and the value. When the item arrives at the Canadian address the buyer will have to pay UPS at the door for brokerage fees, taxes and any duties if the product was manufactured outside the states,

Any time I have received rims and tires they had cardboard circles attached with shrink wrap to both sides.

As for payment. Make sure you have the money up front. Paypal, wire transfer etc.

Make sure the buyer is aware they will still owe UPS when the wheels arrive. Their brokerage fees are not cheap and they also have to pay 13% HST tax
