I have no affiliation to the site but I bought this about a year ago

http://www.eagleday.com/bonoducupho.html

They work pretty well however, if you drink things that are over-sized (coffee in a travel mug) or under-sized (red bull) then you may have a problem. I wouldn't recommend putting anything in there that is a large size from a fast food place either. Also even with a regular size drink inside you may find the center console arm rest annoying because you have to keep it open when you have a drink in the cup holders because whenever you brake the lid wants to close. It also seems pretty 'cheap' and flimsy for $40 but it does the job (mostly). I will say that it has come in more handy than not and the lid doesn't close fully without putting stress on the hinge when the cup holders are in. But when you buy a hot coffee or a cold glass of goats milk, you'll be happy you have it.

I have these on each side. I'm not a coffee drinker so only use them occasionally for a bottle of water. They work great for bottled drinks with a cap but I would be afraid to use them with an open-top container.

I bought the Eagleday one first, and I didn't really like it because it is awkward to get the cup to and from, plus it means that you can't use that compartment for anything else now and having the lid bouncing around gets annoying. If you want it, I'll send it to you for $40 including the shipping.

Then I went on to the Ultimate cupholders that ddb has. I really like them a lot. They seem to be the best option. I have both of mine on the passenger side though because if I put one on the driver's side then my leg is always in contact with it.

I have them too and like them.
The added bonus is that the drink is de-facto sitting on the floor, so IF it falls out of the holder (which never happened to me) the collateral damage would be not as bad as with a high mounted holder

Sipping coffee while in the P-car??? I will have to think about trying this one day.
If I can ever drive the car slow enough to manage it!

It's not for while I'm driving - it's so I have something to take away the pasties when I stop for a fatty.
