I also got to keep my boxster so now i have the best of both worlds. it is a slightly used 1,900 miles 2010 GSR with the sss package . i could not resist the jet like turbo blast.

Certainly not my cup of tea, but congrats on getting what you wanted!

Nice car...

the license plate mount is hideous though.

EVOs are fabulous cars. Keep it forever.

Congratulations on your Evo X, I had a 2008 that got totaled. I replaced it W/ a Volvo s40 T5 but still miss the Evo.

To bad most members on here have no idea of what a super car the Evo X really is. Enjoy your little beast. :)

Congrats - please give us an update on the +++ & --- of the car compared to your Boxster.
It may (or may not) change a few members opinions ......

yes, this car is going to be a great daily driver with no mechanical worries and a full factory warranty . the minute you turn the key you can tell it is something special just like the boxster but more racer like.

Last year I test drove both the EVO X MR and the Subaru WRX STI. They were both very fun cars to drive indeed. However, I decided to hold off from any purchase, and wait and see if there was any truth to the rumors that Subaru was going to relaunch the sedan version of the STI . And, much to everyone's surprise, they did. I am now seriously considering buying one for a daily driver.

the subie is pretty much the same thing as the evo. you really can not beat either of these cars for the money they cost. i like the look of the evo better and i had an evo8 a few years back and it was a great problem free car. the new evo feels just the same as the old car with a slightly better interior and more advanced AWD system. still has the big lag .

As I said, they were both fun cars to experience . However, at the same time I found them both to be polarizing in their own way. As far as the EVO was concerned, I had mixed feelings about the sequential gearbox, as well as styling . I mean no disrespect, but in my opinion the EVO has a very bold and interesting design to its front end . It has almost "supercar" good looks . However, the tail end design is incongruous to the rest of
it . It doesn't quite add up . In fact, it smacks of a Toyota Tercel to me. On the overhand, I couldn't resolve the look of the STI hatch. Too station wagon like for me. The new STI sedan, however, brings back the "bulldog" good looks of its predecessor; this time in a much more mature and sophisticated way. In any case, you picked up a great vehicle . Its amazing to see how much power one can extract from those forced induction engines.

there is no disguising the econo box roots of the evo or sti . neither one of them has body work that blends seamlessly like a Boxster. i like the front of the evo but some side angle views of the car look real funny.
