Key head falling apart?

In one week, both of my keys have come apart at the key head. They wont stay together even when I take the electronics out. I think that the little fish hooks on the cap with the buttons is worn and doesn't have enough bite.

I stopped by the local stealership and they wanted $180 for the plastic housing! The electronics and key are fine, I have one taped together and it's working fine, but looks really nasty.

I could only find one online in the UK for $32 each plus shipping, does anyone have a fix or another source in the US before I order them from the UK?
