First Drive of a Boxster-Wow!
 

Took my first drive in a new Porsche Boxster 2.7 Tiptronic. Wow, what a car. It handles like a dream. Top down cruising around in Jackets as our UK weather is crap, but hey we looked cool.
I am definately going for a boxster as my newxt car. Going to look at one tomorrow. MY97 2.5 and if I like what I see I guess you got yourselves a new Boxster owners club member!

P.s What is the sound system in a MY97 boxster as standard, is it a Rad/Cass or Cd player?

in the us, cassette is standard.

Another hooked one! As you have discovered, the Boxster is INTENSE!!

I can't see getting a Boxster with a Tiptronic. That is lame as far as I am concerned. I'd get the manual transmission myself.

Great car, but I think you lose some of the excitement with a Tiptronic.

Just my own opinion of course, but I have been driving since 1965, have had one or two cars with an automatic (yes, I know the Tiptronic is not quite the same), the rest were all stick shift. Just love having a stick I guess.
