How to remove switches?

Hi guys,

want to know how to remove the switches around the radio/HVAC area (the ones such as door lock, top operation, T/C, etc.) I can take the plastic wings off that hold them, but then I want to take the switches out of that trim.

Looks like the clip in somehow, thought I might ask before possibly breaking one while I try to pry the wrong spot! Any help?

Regards,
Sam

Simply remove the "horseshoe" trim and the switches just snap in/out, if I remember correctly; I don't recall any trick to removing them

You may have trouble removing the cig lighter. If you do, let me know and I will walk you thru.

I have removed the horseshoe, but they aren't just 'popping out'. They appear to clip in somehow. I dont really just want to push harder in case I break something.

Can someone who has done this before confirm you do just push harder or if there is a spot you have to press/lift etc?

If they are anything like the window switches in the center console they are a bit tricky to snap out, study them closely and you'll get them out,I just recently did mine but I can't remember the details to how the switch came out, like all these things once you do get one out it will be obvious lol...like a lot of the panels and such it seems they will break but they do pop out.

Ok can do! In picture is the radio surround, my home made carbon iPhone holder, carbon shifter and you can just see the carbon cluster surround.
