The guy said that replacing the O2 sensors might clear up the code for the catalytic converter, so I think I'll start with that. On a budget, of course...

Odd about the pricing though. This is a pretty reputable shop and I was referred by co-workers. Maybe business is slow and he's trying to make up for that.

Charged me $170 for an oil change today- is that too steep as well?
