Wowza...I just could not do it myself. Way too high for me.
|
I don't know if I would make it all the way to the top - that last transition looks pretty scary - but I'd sure like to have a go at it.

I'm pretty sure I could handle the climbing that's still within the supporting framework of the tower. After that, wow, I'm not so sure. To add to the intensity of the experience, I gotta believe it's pretty windy up there.
What's even crazier? If you look closely when he's at the very top, messing around with his gear? At one point he's not hanging on to anything! |
I-N-S-A-N-E!!!!!
I'd never do this, even watching was scary -to me-... Did you guys see he was standing on the top without holding on for a moment? |

Had to watch it in short sections. Couldn't stomach it. I would imagine the trip down to be worse. |
work smarter, not harder....
glad to be at sea level either way... :) http://fliiby.com/file/403032/fhhshjdkpa.html |
I could climb that blindfolded in my leather thong . I would just feel bad for the person right behind me ! :p

(You HAVE a leather thong???) |
That got to me..I couldn't watch the whole thing. Many, many years ago, a friend's father was an engineer on the Hancock building in Chicago. One afternoon he took a handful of us to the top of the unfinished building...windows were in, but most upper floors were unfinished, so you could peer down the center core for what seemed like an eternity. Can you imagine what the insurance co would have thought if they'd known a bunch of 12 year olds were up in the attic?
Never cared for heights... |
HA! I thought this thread was going to about Towelie!
