Need help on 20 rims for the rear on boxster

Is there anyone or do you know of someone who has 20" rims on a 986 boxster?

My question is, can you fit 20" rims on the rear of boxster without any body work needed?

PLease guys respond if you know as im working on a project car and need some advise.I would honestly want to have 20 rims on the rear but only if there is no work needed.Prefer 20x85 or 20x10? any ideas guys?

First and foremost, why do you want to put 20 inch wheels on your boxster ? Depending on the offset, I suppose that its possible. However, in order to maintain the appropriate overall circumference, you have would to lower the aspect ratio (profile of the tire) of the tires to the point where you would be riding on virtually nothing for rubber ! I hope that you have a good dental plan, you'll need it after picking your teeth up off the pavement . Not advisable !!

Not only would one have to be a fool to put 20 inch wheels on a boxster, it would take an even bigger fool to use wheels of those specifications .

Merry Christmas Chris.

Yes the rain was nuts. 11 inches in 7 days, whew! It stopped just in time though. Tomorrow my brother has 2 nieces coming into town and we are taking the cars out for a little sightseeing tour. Sunset, Mulholland drive, the Hollywood sign etc. No Malibu Beach though cause rocks are still coming down. It should be fun.

See ya in Buttonwillow for sure!
