CV joint dust cap removal?

Pinarelloman Registered User Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Australia Posts: 105	CV joint dust cap removal? I have torn a CV joint boot on the inner right side. I have disconnected the joint from the transmission but cannot see where the dust cap removes from the CV to give access to the circlip. I have looked at the Pelican Parts tech article but there are no photos of the cap removed or where you split it apart. Can anyone point me in the right direction, as I don't want to destroy the cap on removal. Thanks. Dave. __________________ Dave. 2001 Boxster S. Speed yellow.
