Wiper fault or normal ??

Hi,
Is it normal for the windscreen wipers to stop when you squirt water from the jets then when squirt lever released they carry on working ? i have a Porsche Boxster 04 plate , just seems a bit strange ..... is it normal.... cheers. Steve.

Mine doesn't - but maybe the Australian models are different :p
Sounds like you have a problem with the stalk switch actuation.....

Mine stop. Attributed to German cars doing everything different!

certain years do in order for the washer to cover the windshield.

The owner's manual explains in detail.
If you pull the lever halfway, it sprays but stops the wipers. Pull it all the way, it sprays fluid and wipers move simultaneously.
