Cylinder #1 - passenger or driver's side?

I'm told a CEL code referring to Bank 1 is the same side as cylinder #1. Which side is cylinder #1 on, passenger or driver's side? I'm sure they are all the same but for reference I own a MY 01 S. Thanks!

right side of car for bank 1. (pass. side in the US)
