Rear Spoiler light

Would any of you folks know why my rear spoiler light on the dash would stay on? Spoiler works fine using the manual switch near the fuse box. Does it indicate something else ?
Thanks.

My guess is either the spoiler is NOT working automatically at speed or you simply have a bad sensor!

Thanks Brucelee. I'll have my wife check while I legally do my best to get to 71mph.

Correct. I had to have this fixed on my 01 and it turned out to be a relay if I remember correctly. So if you're out of warranty you may want to check that before heading to the dealer.

Mine does the same thing but once I drive past 1mph it goes off.
