Convertible Top problem

1999 Boxster
Sometimes my soft top works, and then sometimes it doesn't. Checked my fuses, they are good. Would a relay cause it to sometimes work? I put it down for one of those rare fall hot days and now it won't go back up, Ughhhhhh!

Most common reason is the handbrake switch. Check and see if the dashboard light goes on when you engage the brake - if it doesn't than you have your problem.

This same question has been answered many times in this forum. Try doing a search and you'll find lots of info.

You could always take the safety micro-switches out of the loop by installing a SmartTop controller.
