It's not about slamming gears...go drive your Camaro or Korvet if that's your thing. Been a track instructor for fifteen years and when I get a student who thinks they have to shift fast, we have a good discussion on missed gears and tranny damage.

I also heel 'n toe and double clutch when driving on the street...some things just come naturally.
