Polish or not? Porsche wheels that is.

Putting the car up for winter - and wondered should the Boxster wheels be polished.
Or just clean and wax? Does polish destroy the coating?

Polish always look good, until you stop cleaning it each hour :P

What is the finish on your wheels? If they are factory painted, just a good coat of wax (or preferably a polymer like ReJex) will suffice. Polish is used to remove finish imperfections and will remove all outer protection, so you'd need to apply a good finish coat.

Clean and wax, perfectly fine!
