Hands free /music streaming for 2001 boxster S

HI Everyone,

I have an IPhone 4 ( lucky me!) and wanted to stream the music from the ipod part of it to the car speakers and have it hands free for the phone bit also.

So I bought a thing called an IO player. Having spent 5 hours fitting it (the book says really easy max 1 hour, yeh right!) I have since been told by the leads maker I rang in desperatiion because the music power went down by 50% that this IO player is not designed for a 6 speaker stereo only 4! Can anyone recommend how I can get the music form the phone and use it hands free without using an FM radio adaptor which are terrible?. Many thanks as ever , Chris.
