CF body parts VS...

So what is the lowdown on carbon fiber body parts? (IE fenders, bumpers and the like) are they more durable? Stronger? how about weight? would a CF front bumper be a good thing or a bad investment?

If bad is TUV (i think its called) or is FG the way to go?

any info would be appreciated.
