Clear Tail Lights - Where can I get them?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but where can I get clear tail lights for my '03? I've seen them on some of the signature pics, but I've searched and searched and all I come up with are the clear and red tail lights. Are the pure clear (and I'm assuming they're LED) tail lights not available anymore? Is it a DOT thing or what?

Thanks, didn't think about overseas Ebay.

I wonder why you can't get them here? Maybe not DOT approved?

I like the idea of the lights blending into the body and the clear lights seem to do this with the silver colored cars. Kind of light de-ambering one step further.

I know you can get the clear or smoked 3rd/center brake light here, maybe I'll try that first and see how it looks before shelling out $275 for the UK Ebay lights.

maybe. but I doubt you will get pulled over and if you do I guess that is risk you take!

I've got some of the clear LED tail lights that I'd be willing to sell. PM me if interested. I did have to buy them from overseas, but I paid over $300. For some reason the all clear tails just aren't available in the US. IMHO they are DOT legal based on what I've read in the California code. The big area where clear tail lights get dinged is if they are 100% clear and do not have a red reflector. To be DOT legal the lights MUST have a red reflector in them (although some new car manufacturers seem to get away with putting the reflector in the bumper, not light). If you look in the middle of these lights they do have a red reflector to meet DOT requirements.
