1988 930 turbo...
So I dont want this car. I think they destroyed it internally (cabinwise and motorwise) but there are things I really like. the body kit to me is amazing. I love that front hood scoop.
but I wanted to know what ya'll think. maybe im tripping and losing focus on what is classy and exotic and what would be considered rice. you tell me have I lost it.
call me crazy.
heres the link

Kinda reminds me of....
"Anti-radar paint, turbo-charged. JJ, nobody can stop us now!"
It's busy. It's fussy. I normally don't go for that kind of thing. But I can't help but like it!

$100k really?! (I'd rather get a 993 turbo-bone stock for that price)
Hood is too much imho. Other then that decent looking bodykit.

That hood is very cool but is the oil cooler still there? The pics looks like it's just an open duct.

ugly as sin, but i bet you get a serious amount of down pressure on the front end at speed, and that is a good thing.

Anything I may have liked about the car was completely overshadowed by the how much I like the before photo so much more.
That rear wing looks like something from a Dr. Suess novel.

i guess consensus has spoken. ill have to tone down my thirst for being different.
BUT in my defense of craziness I hate that wing. all i like is the front scoop thing. I think that on a normal widebody 930 would be killer.
but it seems im in the minority!

I like rice and over the top body kits. But I think aerodynamics should be functional or at least look really functional. I'm a bit hypocritical as my lower side vents are not functional. This car almost has too much... But at least maybe those front and rear brake ducts are functional and maybe those wing ducts are functional. But what on earth is the function of that big hold cut in the front of the car? Naw... seems kinda ghey to me.

way to expensive for what it is. If you are going to move to miami and wear a open shirt with a gold chain and grow a lot of chest hair, maybe. You could find a bone stock one for cheaper than that or even a 1994 911 turbo. Walk away!

The thing to me is the price (along with that hole in the front, the rear wing, etc). For that kind of scratch you could buy a very low mileage certified 2-3 yr old 997T coupe or cab. While it wouldn't have 800+ HP, it also wouldn't spin out on a bannana peel either. Plus, who knows how tight that motor is - will it pop the 2nd time you light the afterburner?
Give me the 997T for that kind of money.

if that's a real 930, they ruined it. even if it's not a 930, they ruined it.
here's the builder:
