987 3.2s Tiptronic Gear Selector Problem
 

Hi,

I'm New To The Forum, So Not Sure If I've Posted This In The Correct Place, But Hope Someone Out There May Be Able To Give Me Some Advice.

I Have A 2005 987 3.2s Tiptronic, And Have Noticed That The Gear Selector Is Getting Stiff, Sometimes To The Extent That You Need To Use 2 Hands To Move It, And The Gate Seems Very Vague.

This Is Particularly Noticeable After A Long Journey When Warm. Any Ideas At All?

could be that the shift cable is going bad....look how its routed....too close to exhaust ?
