P1130 Cel

So the CEL came on and I got a scan tool to read the codes and cleared it.
What should be my first course of action as far as trying to prevent this coming up again? the AOS was replaced about 10k miles ago. So it should not be that? Plugs recently as well....

Do a search for "1130" and you'll find plenty to read. Search is your friend. :)

People have reported solving that issue by cleaning the MAF. It is also possible that you have a leak somewhere.

Change the MAF and it should fix the issue. You can try cleaning it but for me cleaning it did nothing. From what I have read (which I did a lot of) cleaning it never really works. Just get a new one and you will be good.

How much to MAF's run I checked on Pelican parts but did not see it...

Mauiboxster 07-12-2010 10:16 AM

$150-$200.

I've consistently found the best MAF prices at ************************************************************.

Learn from other people's mistakes, DO NOT buy one from eBay no matter how good a "deal" it seems.

i had the 1130 code all through winter. never changed a thing and as soon as it warmed up, I haven't had the code since. may not help you at all, but something to think about i suppose...
