Aside from the 986, what's your dream car?

I had an opportunity to sit in a Z8 a couple months ago, start it up, and otherwise soak up the car. I was intrigued! Now, if I had unlimited resources, I'd probably be hard pressed to buy a Z8 over say, a Ferrari 360 Modena. But a Modena to me should be a coupe. Somehow a convertible Ferrari seems compromised (after all, they are "chopped" versions of the coupe). It would be a tough call. But the Z8 could be a direct replacement for a Boxster, and I don't think I'd miss the Boxster one bit with a Z8 (not something I could say about the Modena coupe)

As a side note, I actually like the looks of the Ferrari 355 better than the 360. But with maintence being terrible with all Ferraris--but noticeably better with each generation, it makes sense to get the newest version.

So I guess my current dream cars would be a Z8 and a Ferrari 360 Modena...how about you?

Dream car: RUF 3600

My dream car would be the RUF 3600 Boxster. Artic Silver, full supple black leather interior with a killer sound system. Turbos, we don't need no stinkin turbos!

I believe you said unlimited resources, correct? I don't believe that the Z8 would make the top 10

1) Porsche Carrera GT
2) Pagani Zonda C12
3) Enzo
4) Bugatti EB110
5) Koenigsegg CC
6) Saleen S7
7) Mclaren F1
8) Aston Martin V12 Vanquish
9) Mercedes CLK-GTR
10) Cunningham C-7

Honorable mention - Shelby AC Colbra

Charlie, I think you just got caught up in the moment.

well, the Z8 from looks no question.
but I spoke to ppl that drove the Z8 in comparison to general 911 convertible. the Z8 has alot of power, but does not come up with that fine and sporty driving pleasure porsches offers. Its for some details raw and it was build for ppl that prefer cruisin.
