Brake line fitting

I am replacing the brake hoses on my 99 and one of the line fittings is slightly burred up. Can I buy a die to clean up the threads, if so what is the thread size?
I think I would rather cleanup the threads than get a new line made. What are your thoughts? Bill

hard to say without seeing the threads[they are metric by the way] the threads force the flare against the seat and that is how its sealed. if the threads are buggered bad they can ruin what you are screwing into. i guess its better to side with caution when it comes to brakes and get a new line
