The additional pics are very, very nice. Shows that close attention to detail with respect to fitting and installation.

Did you install them yourself or did the body shop do it after you prepped them?

Yes I installed them myself first and got them painted on the car at the body shop.

The only problem with skirting is that it makes 17" wheels look even smaller.

I have fiberglass skirting not my first choice but the factory polyurethane versions do not come in the 996 GT3 MK2 style for the Boxster. And man they were not cheap to put on.
The skirting was only $200 or so but getting them painted cost me at least $500.
But that was when the economy was booming from dudes putting mods on their EZ-Credit cards.

Wow...that's a lot to pay for painting the skirts. I got my OEM Aerokit 1 skirts for $150 and then had em painted for $250 at a good shop here in NNJ. Perfect paint match...

update: purchased used set from a 2001 , 911 and tried to install. they are an inch too short. my stupidity. so hopefully no one does the same thing ! haha

911 skirts do not fit , used boxster skirts are much harder to come by .
