TIP Steering wheel on stick car?

Hi,

Can I put a TIP steering wheel on manual transmission car?
I realize that shift cbuttons won't work but do they have a different mount?

I'm asking because I bought for cheap a 3 spoke wheel in a perfect color combination for me (see attached image) add to that a black airbag cover.. and it would look great on my biege interior boxster.

Is there a way to fit it or I have to sell it?

Also can I reuse airbag from my 4 spoke steering wheel? I know I will have to get a 3spoke airbag cover.. but the airbag itself.. can it be reused?

Thanks
Sasha

Cannot reuse the airbag - different size.

Looks like you need the tip switches - these are VERY spendy (like $320) and without them the wheel will look like crap.

Wheel mounts the same to the column. Some people have used the Tip wheel and switches to control audio volume and track/station changes. Search here and Renntech to find out how.

Cheers!

Thanks Lil

That sounds like too much trouble for me:) I think I'll just sell it.
It was cheap for a reason:)

Thanks
Sasha

I might have a mint 3-spoke (black) for sale in a few weeks...
