AOS Replaced but I have some residual smoke

Replaced the AOS, the top tube and the boot. Definitely fixed my problem. I still have some smoke on startup for about 15 seconds. How long does it take to clear up. :o

after changing mine and first starting it up.. the smoke lasted at least 5-8 mins before it went away... i was scared at first cause it didn't seem to be stopping or getting better but after a few the smoke was going down and finally gone... guess it depends how much oil got out when the aos went out...

did you also change out the j-tube? If not, definitely clean it out along w/ the throttle body ASAP. Here's a DIY on TB cleaning from Pedro's site:
