OK folks, I will be in the area on vacation again this year... but unless I find a grand to rent a truck or SUV and find a car trailer to borrow, I will be in my 550i instead of the Boxster (again).

Anyone interested in meeting Sunday, October 17th for a drive?

Give me a buzz, Randall - mine is also a 97 986, and a few options on the exterior to being a clone of yours (just had it a few weeks...) I"m sure we can work something out where you can borrow mine for a few runs if you want.

If a date is developed, count me in!

Apathic, thank you for your kind and generous offer but I will take a pass on that one. Holy cow I can only imagine that I could lose control and slide your Porsche off the side of the road and down an embankment and into a tree... just like my buddy did with his car on the Dragon.

No one should do that in a borrowed Porsche.

I'll be watching this post as well. I just finished grad school and its time to start playing again.

I believe October would work for me.

Since we had a low turnout last fall what about the end of July or the first part of August? We can get a discount at the Two Wheel Inn so post what weekend is good for you and I'll contact the TWI and arrange for the discount. I've received a few emails from them so they are eager to have us back again.

Bill- Looking forward to seeing your new ride.
Randall and Sammy- I can still make it in October if you two make it down/up.
