This isnt my first AX (its my 4th) but I just got a GOPRO HD and and Id thought id try it out. i have more video but this is just what i got up on youtube today. if anyone has some good editing mp4 proggies lemme know. its uncut and uncensored. :cheers:

Makes me want to start autocrossing again!

Very Cool camera mount location. I like the fact that there is none of the typical wind buffeting noise either. :)

That picture quality on that is amazing.

alot of people use hoosiers. r6 i think. i know that red boxster infront of me was running kuhmo 710s and he was solid as a rock.

the best part about the quality is that it wasnt even in 1080P!!! ill save that for next time (or my parade lap at laguna seca for lemans :cheers: )

The Gopro is a great camera for this. I like the wheel view too.

yeah that is pretty sweet. i dont think im at the point where i need all that tech tho :) i need to just get my basics down! but that is really sweet with all the info! im not sure if the video is helpful enough but do you have any tips that you can give me based on the the videos? :cheers:

Launch hard-you can cover the first 100 feet half a second quicker than most other cars if you can get a good launch. On a grippy surface I can launch at up to 5000 rpm without much wheelspin. I experimented with launch and shift rpms and the higher you can launch without the tires going up in smoke, the quicker you will be. Shifting just before redline is quicker, too. I have a base 2004 Boxster so things may be different for an S.

i have a base 01. so i think ill be able to use your advice for sure. what do you think about shifting. usually i keep it in second... should i downshift into first? cuz that can be really tricky.
