Seatbelts no longer retract

Has anyone else had their seatbelts get to a point where they don't retract anymore? Is this something I can fix myself or am I looking at replacing the mechanism?

Another thing that doesn't work in my boxster anymore is the windows don't roll down the quarter inch to clear the soft top frame when you open the doors. Is this usually the window micro switch in the door? Are there any DIYs on fixing this?

Thanks

Tim

about the seatbelts:
they're done, you need new ones
easy DIY to fix, but you must disconnect the battery while doing it, otherwise you'll get an airbag light

Price includes 1 seat belt for one seat / passenger. We have all the hardware that you might need for installation and expert telephone support if you have any questions.

It does sound like the micro switch in the door handle, this seems to be quite a common fault (had mine done too) don't think there is a DIY fix on this, unless someone knows different.
