New Georgia Boxster Owner!

After looking for the perfect opportunity to buy the right Boxster, I finally pulled the plug! Last Friday I flew to Boston from Augusta, GA and purchase my 2006 Boxster from a fellow forum member. I found my new ride in the classified section of this foreum. The car was everything advertised and more. I also elected to drive it home (1,100 miles) rather than having is shiped. I have been reading this foreum for a year gaining information on how to purchase and maintain my Boxster. I will rely on this foreum to help me maintain and repair my new ride. I plan to do most of the maintenance myself.

Congrats! I just purchased my 99 Boxster 2 months ago and am loving it. I live in Atlanta and have seen a few others on the boards here from Georgia. Best of luck with your purchase.

According to our friends to the north, in Canada they "pull the plug" due to strict gun laws, and in the US we "pull the trigger," especially if you're in GA (I used to live there). If you pull the plug in the US you may be no more.

Good luck with your purchase. You'll find this forum to be indispensable. If you haven't already pulled the plug - uh, I mean pulled the trigger - on a Bentley Manual, that's the first thing to get. Here's a link for the best price that I've seen, $62.95 including shipping:

Here in Georgia

Great , I'm here in Columbus Ga. I've had my 01 S for a year and a half. I love it. This is my first post after being registered for some time. Usually the quiet type, keep my mouth shut and ears open. Beer's kickn in, gettin talky. Anyway, this is a great forum, and a wealth of info. Just got the Bentley manual, AWSOME.
