Need radio code

Hi all, when I bought my 01 S from a local dealer as a trade in. There was no owners manual, radio manual, or code. Turned out I new the person who traded it in. I asked him about the manuals, he said he gave them to the dealer. They said they never got them. Someone probably kept them for souvenirs or sold them on ebay. Anyway I need to repair the bowden cable on my driver's side door, and will need to disconnect the battery. So I will need the radio code when I'm finished. Need my tunes.
2001 Boxster S, Arctic Silver and Black.

Any help is this will be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks in advance. :)

Thanks

Just checked out that site, and figured out how to find the model # and serial # for the radio. Will get that info in the am and request it there. Thanks very much!

Radio Code Recovery

The following site uses an alternative algorithm (not becker4) that seems to be more accurate: www.a2dvoices.com/realitycheck/porsche/

For the radio code, look here: Lost Radio Code - FAQ - 986 Series (Boxster, Boxster S) - RennTech.org Forums
