clicking sound

In the past hour my 2003 Boxster S has developed a quick-paced clicking sound at speeds over 50 mph. It's not loud, but not quiet either. The sound is coming from the right rear side. Any ideas as to what it might be?

Have you looked at your CV joint boots? Could be torn and slapping against something.

Check your tires. You may have picked up a nail or a bolt.

+1 on checking your tyres. It is the most likely culprit since the noise appeared out of nowhere and is specific to a corner.
