Windshield washer access; door arm rest

I don't know aboout you all, but I'm mighty glad spring is finally here! (Probably a stupid comment to make on a board for convertible.)

My windshiled washer tank leaks. When filled, fluid just runs straight through. The pump motor makes good sounds but never pumps anything so I'm thinking the line from the tank to the pump came loose. How do I get my hands on all this stuff? I'm thinking I need to remove the left inner fender. Is that right? If so, any tricks to doing that?

The hard plasitc door arm rest bugs me after awhile. Been thinking of attaching 1/4 or 3/8" rubber oval to soften things up. Anyone done their own fix on this?

Thanks
