Girl Power

Ran across this vid. From 1998 - Clarkson interviews female TV personalities about their cars. Yes, there's a Boxser in the mix.

I've never met a woman that could even drive a manual boxster.

You hang out in the wrong crowds! I know a fair number of girls who can drive sticks quite well.

My wife drives my Boxster Quite well. It is a 6 speed manual. Oh wait, does that mean i drive a girl's car?? :)

Boxsters with the stock flywheel are very easy to drive for someone that doesn't drive a stick often. They can roll at 4 mph in first gear and not die. Not many manual cars can do that.

Some cars and trucks that I have driven would give an inexperienced driver much more trouble.

Even if my girl could drive a stick... I wouldn't let her drive my Porsche. That's crazy talk.

I let my wife drive mine all the time. She says when I get a Cayman I have to give her the Boxster. She's never driven the Firehawk (6 speed) though, even though I have offered to let her (halfheartedly). She's too afraid she'll scratch it and I'll never forgive her. hehe

So we all drive a girl's car. I don't see what the fuss is about? :p
