Most options award

Does anyone know this person or if they are a member of this site?

Whoever it is, they are always updating their mods page over on RennTech...like almost daily now for months....

This has to be one of the most optioned 2001 986's out there down to even the 2500+ oem audio speaker upgrade.

The only thing I can think of they have not done is upgrade the factory 17" wheels...

Check this out.

Overkill on the interior with the red if you ask me. I would like several of the upgrades that have been done but to do that much seems like a waste. At that pace you really cant enjoy driving the Boxster.

My only option is Litronics because all those options add weight and reduce performance. Lighter weight was also my number one criterion (after looks) for replacement wheels.
Couldn't see the car, as RennTech's page is down for upgrades.

The site is now back up. As soon as this person updates their car again (which should be in a day or two) I will repost the correct link.

You have got to see the level of options / mods this person has done to their 986 S.

Do post a new link. The one in your original post takes me back to the front page and I'm already logged in to renntech.

I will. When they reconfigured their site, the link I placed earlier today would have taken you to the car...now it takes you to the newly updated front page. This person will update for sure soon.

It's back up now...Below is the link.

You have got to see the mods on this '01 S. I am still questioning why with everything here, this person would not upgrade the factory 17's.

'01 Boxster Link

I think he just likes seeing his car up on top of the list, and so he adds a mod pretty much everyday to get a bump back up. Pretty soon, his whole car will be one big blob of red.

Forget about the red or having the most mods. He should get an award for having 5000 different Porsche/986 logos in every possible location. I'm cool with most of them except the cheap plastic bubble logos you get off of ebay (like the ones above his CD changer and the one on the face of the stereo unit.) If you look at the rear quarter view you can spot three porsche logos and two crests. Kinda ironic that the rear deck lid is debadged.

Alas, it's hard to knock it. I understand the obsession

+1 on the Porsche and 986 logos. He must need a constant reminder of the make/type auto he's driving.

"What kind of car is that?...wait let me look"

Way too many red highlights for my taste...he apparently doesn't understand the term "discreet".

I don't think he has enough PORSCHE logos on his car. I mean, he's still got all that empty real estate on his rear trunk, hardtop, pass. side airbag cover, and underbody panels.

I mean, check it out... you almost can't tell what kinda car it is unless you look closely at the labels. Thank goodness he has some stickers on there as identifiers.
