it will be a few more weeks here. It will be close to 50 also, but i only have 2 wheels on the car. The other two are getting repaired, so even if i get the itch, i can't take it.

I still have to replace the aos and flush the coolant.

I'm originally from De Kalb but moved to Colorado in '87. I drive my Boxster all Winter unless the snow gets too deep! This car does amazingly well in the white stuff.

I'm sitting in an airport terminal on my way home from a 2-week trip. For 3 weeks prior to my departure I was unable to drive my Boxster due to ice and snow. I have summer tires and I just didn't feel like taking a risk. So, the car has been sitting for 5 weeks.

This is probably the longest period that it has gone un-driven. I have it on a battery maintainer, so I expect it to start. Since I normally don't let the car hibernate, do you northern owners have any tips for the first drive tomorrow?

I'm about 2 weeks away from pulling Nicole out of the garage. I hope we get some rain first to wash away the salt.

I see Porsches driven here in Colorado through the winter. I just can't bring myself to subject the car to the sandblasting. My winter cars are heavily chipped in front and in the rocker panels from all the sand they use on our roads. Not to mention the yearly broken windshield.
