Break Rotors

I have a 2002 Base Boxster and I am planning to replace my break rotors (front & rear). I ordered my rotors (with holes and groves) from ebay and when I received it, I really don't know which one of the rotors goes to the front and rear. The difference between the two sets of rotors is just the weight. One is heavier than the others. There is no marking which one is the right or left side. Please help me. Thank you very much.

L/R are interchangeable. Front and rear differ in diameter and also the hats for the rears are larger because they have to contain the parking brake shoes. You can always compare them when you take the old ones off too.

If you bought aftermarket on ebay, I hope they fit. We've seen a few claiming compatibility with OEM which were not.

Cheers!

The vanes inside the vented rotors only go one way.
