Metric gauge faces

The thing is, my Boxster was imported from the US to Europe, and now has i have the gauges in MPH and Fahrenheit. I've been looking for new faces with KM/H and celsius, but can't find them anywhere. Seen white ones on ebay.com in MPH for $20, and metric ones in germany, but which look ugly, and costs 180 euros!

Any tips where i could find a set of preferably OEM looking ones for a reasonable price?

Why not replace your entire instrument pod with a lightly used one acquired in locally? There are no dead Boxsters in Finland?

This company in the UK has a very nice selection of parts cars:

You can also just switch the digital display to km/h and Celsius. That is what most Canadians who have imported US Boxsters do.

I did that already, but it would be nice to get everything in metric units. It's not possible to switch the temp on the OBC to celsius, is it?

You can do it.

To switch the temp readout press and hold the recirculation button. Then press the temperature up ("+") button to switch between degrees Celsius & Fahrenheit on the Climate Control Temperature and Instrument Panel Outside Temperature displays.

This method worked on my 1997 model. It bay be different for later years.

IIRC Models after 2000 may require the setting to be changed by a dealer with the PST-II

If he has OBC then it's just done via the stalk.

Pirrex,

Why don't you check out my other thread - CNC your own panels

With this you can have the panels made which you want.

Cheers!
