Cigarette lighter replacement

Just getting around to changing out a cigarette lighter. Instructions offered previously greatly appreciated but I'm "stuck". Can't figure out how to remove bad socket. I know there's some simple method, but I'm just not seeing it. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Here is a link that provides some tips. Don't get scared by what you read...it is not that difficult. I changed out mine not too long ago because the lighted ring around the socket blew out. It took me only about 15 minutes to swap it out.
