Avic D3 question
 

Guys, I have the Avic D3 and wanted to know what models came after the D3.

I recall the next model eliminated the CD for the GPS but I'm wonder what the progression has been and if the newer ones are HD screens.

After the D series came the F series then came the current X series.

You can go online to pioneerelectronics.com and see a list of current models.

Most all navi systems today have ditched the DISC maps and have interal hard drives.

I have the Avic F series and love it except that it has a 30-45sec boot time.

thanks... wow that's a long boot time. the D3 boots in 5 seconds.

Thanks again. I was considering buying an upgrade on ebay and putting my D3 in another car, etc.
