well if you are going to buy NEW you might as well get the newest you can afford.

If you are going to try to lessen the impact of the money lost in buying New I would try to find a good deal on a 2003 S model (glass window).

I always look for a bargain and I think a 2003 S is allot of car for the money.
Is it worth losing $10-20K and opting for a 2005? I don't think so.
So far everyone seems to think that as you pointed out they are very similar.

whatever you do stick with the S.

Newer one of course

[QUOTE=Perfectlap]well if you are going to buy NEW you might as well get the newest you can afford.

I concurr. If you can afford the 987 go for it.When I bought mine in December of 2003 the 2004 were just coming out but the cars from 2003 and a 2004 are really basically the same. Same engine, same hp's same body so in essence it was a no brainer. The 2005 vs the 2004 are totally different so the basis for analysis is different.
Like Perfectlap if you can afford it get it since its the new model with all the new perks and options. In any event you will be driving a car that is very distinctive and a blast to drive. Good luck!!!!
