Don't say Glass House to you guys!

Do the 'accepted' mods, you know the ones which everyone else is doing, and you're a friggin' Michelangelo. This despite the fact that your car, after much expense and trouble, still looks like eveyone elses.

But do something that is truly unique and you guys are all over his ********************.

I don't personally care for it, but he didn't do it for me... or you! He did it for himself and that's all that matters!

Some of the mods showing up here recently would make a Camel puke, but still get rave reviews! (Pause for the Bah ah ah ahs from the Flock)

Man! this is a tough Room!

Cheers!

He's missing the green neon lights under the belly pans.

Not sure how that's any worse than the God-awful reddish leather interiors I see all too often on P-cars.

At least he didn't bastardize it into a wanna be Lambo or Carrera GT, I've seen worse personal details added. Maybe we are all a bit pissed that he's getting a Turbo for his birthday, sounds like Pee Wee's pal Francis Buxton...

Here's an "interesting" color combination from the factory.

Ha Ha...that interior looks like it was black but just faded in the sun really bad. What were they thinking?

Hey, I remember that waving checker flag pattern Porsche used all the time in the late seventies and early eighties! I sat in one in the showroom and got dizzy! How the hell could you drive it? This neon green is mild in comparison and that yellow on blue/gray.... WTF? Looks like a dead whale rotting on the beach!
But, then again, the owners of both probably think our's look like ********************, too!

The owner must be a fan of the Jamaican Bobsled team!

True. But now he's trying to sell the car to someone else thinking they will appreciate his choice and placement of accent paint colors.

I do know that not everyone would want to buy my car from me as it sits though. I'm just a little smarter in that I'd remove the things I know would harm the resale value or time to sell the car in the same way I'd remove about 50% of the stuff from my home and stage it for sale if I were to put it on the market.

One day this kid will learn this lesson, and it will probably be the hard way.

The new buyer can get rid of that craziness easily though. The inner intake grilles come right out, and can be replaced with the plain black ones for less than $10 bucks. The badge in the back, you can just remove with dental floss, and the calipers can be repainted with a caliper paint kit for less than $50 bucks. No big deal really.
