Cayenne
So here's the story....I took my 99 boxster in to my local dealer to get the o2 sensor replaced....totalling about $700...I gave the manager there a hard time about having to pay for it since it was Porsche's mistake and that so many boxsters had to replace the sensor.....
Soo......to "make up" for it....he gave me a Cayenne TUrbo..as a loaner for 2 days ( the sensor swap took about 4 hours) but he let me drive it for 2 days... I have never been soo impressed by a SUV, it handles like a boxster andwith the air suspension...it is the smoothest ride i have ever experienced..plus thepower of the turbo V-8 .... I had a hard time bringing it back.... Was never an SUV type of person, but the Cayenne has changed my mind ..... |
Funny. I drove a friend's, and was less than impressed. I expected more zip from a Porsche..

well there is a Cayenne, a Cayenne S and a Cayenne Turbo (for nearly $90).
I imagine they all feel very different. by the way I hear the Cayenne Turbo lapped the New Nurburg Ring in the same time as the Boxster S. That's some handling... |
i only drove the Turbo, can't speak for the other models....
what a rush though.... |
