Boxster vs. 70' Cliff
This is a little old, but really proves how safe Boxsters can be. Now does anyone know where to get one of these mid engine 911 convertibles?

I remember that. Must have been quite a ride. The airbags didn't even deploy!

Ah the innocence of youth  . They were very lucky to walk away. Did you ever do something really stupid that should have killed you when you were young... happened to me more than once. Some people just learn a little slow I guess.
On a brighter note I see a silver Boxster with "minor cosmetic damage" for sale cheap on Craigslist SoCal. |
She said it was a 911 convertible, however it sure does look like a boxster to me.

After looking at the damage you can tell they didn't fly all the way down, they must have landed on the wheels on the down slope (no nose damage) and then rolled the car. The damage to the windshield (with integrated roll bar) and the seat roll bars themselves look they were buried in the dirt at some point. The car must have ended up on it wheels. Great advertisement though for Porsche if you ask me. I also think the reporter should do her homework on automobile identification before opening her mouth.
P.S. The rear spoiler is still depolyed, so they must have been having a good time. |

Good timing to bring this up again. I was shopping insurance companies just to keep my present insurer honest. When the prospective company (a major carrier) determined I had children under the age of 21 and Porsches, my quote was an automatic decline.
Guess they saw this video, as well. |
Two of the luckiest to be alive kids on the planet...
