My car died....................

and it was a discharged battery.

I really don't want to pay dealer prices for a new battery, any recommendations? Sears, delco, etc. Would like one that just replaces the original one (no mods). Any cranking amps, etc I have to look for?

This is for a 2007 Boxster S

Thanks.

Autozone. Duralast. They have them in stock and they fit perfect with the drain and all. I have one. Works great.

When you put the new one in, be sure to check your charging system and make sure that it's charging ok. Just put a volt meter across the terminals and check the DC voltage when the car is running. I'm not sure what the spec is for the Boxster. For motorcycles anything between 13.5 and 14.5V is good (I have a motorcycle shop)

Die Hard

Sears Die Hard...it really is the best built battery for the money. Also Rated #1 Consumer Report and there is no such thing as a cheap battery.
