Problems with Epiq Autosports

Tried to cancel an order with Epiq and had to email back and forth with Todd because they would not answer the phone or call me back. First email: Told him i wanted to cancel my order because the Schnell headers would not fit my car. He argued with me that they would fit with no CELS. No where on their site did it say that you had to relocate the O2 sensors to make this work without the front cats installed. (it says it on the site now. they changed it yesterday right after my email. So he tries to tell me they have shipped out which was an outright lie. Since they were so reluctant to cancel my order, and after three more emails telling him I wanted to cancel my order I wrote him and demanded they cancel my order. At 1:21 eastern time I receive an email from Todd saying the order is canceled. At 1:26 eastern time he processes my credit card and charges it for the order. 5 minutes after he cancels the order. PEOPLE LIKE THIS CANNOT BE TRUSTED. I will stick with Pelican and Suncoast and other reputable suppliers.

Hope you called your credit card company to stop Epiq's unauthorized charge. Epiq sounds like a bunch of sleaze bags.

Isn't there a delay in credit cards posting up? - they could have charged it earlier then canceled after like they said.

I've had nothing but cool experiences with them, heck I even talked to them a few years ago inquiring about some parts and I ended up with a free tonneau cover.

I have purchased stuff from Todd in the past and found him to be very professional and courteous. He responded promptly to emails and even gave me install advice long after the sale. I am not sure what happened with you. I would not hesitate to order from him again.

I feel for you man and hope everything works out for you. I have had multiple purchases from Epiq and have nothing but good things to say. On a number of occasions I asked Tood questions and he promptly responded thoroughly. I personally will order from them again in the future.

Same here, I had only good experiences with EPIQ

Please don't forget that they are not a big outfit but a small organization consisting of Boxster enthusiasts who cater to Boxster enthusiast like us.
And quite frankly: the topic of new headers and CEL has been discussed a million times on this board and the Babblers, so I'd guess that they assume that everyone knows that you have to re-locate the O2 sensors...

Its been a couple of years now, but I also had a good experience with Todd,

I have called them several times on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. No call back. He did email me Tuesday to tell me he didn't have time to call me back because he was headed out the door to visit his family in Wisconsin. Had time to write an email though. It is now Friday evening, and still haven't had a call from any of them. Hell of a way to do business.
