Hardtops tend to creak when they are not adjusted correctly.
Most often it is too tight. As it was in my case. It must be able to "float" on the rubbers...
Search the net (
www.ppbb.com) for adjustment instructions. At the inner sides of the hardtop you will find 2 triangle shaped plastic covers. Remove them and you will find an adjustment mechanism based on three nuts at which you can move/adjust the hardtop in the horizontal as well as the vertical direction.
