Power surge at 2900-3100 RPM (’09 Boxster)

Folks I am new to the world of Porsche (’09 Boxster, drive-by-wire gas pedal)
Have noticed that as I accelerate and reach 2900-3100 RPM there is a momentary power surge that goes for a split second.
There is no pattern, sometimes it happens often sometimes it does not happen at all
Before I go to the dealer and look like a fool after the service adviser test drives my Boxster and says “I did not notice anything”

Did someone experience/heard about this?

Any suggestion is appreciated.

I agree, a surge like that is not seen in earlier generation cars. If you have a new car, use that warranty for all its worth. A dealer should take care of you. I suspect that they will say that is how the DFI cars behave, but you have the right to have them explain the performance properties of your new car, enjoy,

Ed
